Release Promotion & Review: Moonshot by Alessandra Torre

Baseball isn’t supposed to be a game of life and death…

The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was seventeen. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase … he started out as a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six foot frame. A distraction who played like a god and partied like a devil.

I tried to stay away. I couldn’t.

Then, the team started losing.

Women started dying.

And everything in my world broke apart.

Alessandra Torre hit it out of the ball park. I always know to expect greatness with her, but Moonshot is by far my favorite novels of hers. If you aren’t already a fan of Alessandra’s, you will be after reading Moonshot. She mastered a sports romance and added her steamy and suspensful twist to it perfectly. Be prepared to read this in one sitting because there is no way you will be able to put it down. Moonshot will have you wanting to go to a MLB game even if you are not a fan. Moonshot is filled with suspense, true love, heartache, tension, and a few obstacles to overcome. Ty Rollins was a 17 year old girl who grew up with baseball. Her dad was the best closer in the league and she spent her life with him on the road. They had spent just about every moment together. She was 17 and happy to be part of a family; the Yankee’s baseball team. Her life seemed to be going according to plan until the acquiring of a new player, Chase Stern. He was known as a bad boy in the league at only 22. His dream was to play for the Yankees. A scandal forced a trade and there was no way he would blow this opportunity.  His plans to change his image as a good boy started off great until he me Ty. Ty’s father had warned her about Chase but she was a little naive. She didn’t think someone as gifted both on and off the field could ever be attracted to her so it wouldn’t be a problem. Let’s just say their first meeting  was steamy. He was taken with her from that moment and would have pursued her until he found out he was his team members daughter. They tried to stay away, but baseball always found a way to bring them back together. Their connection was full of sparks, passion, and twix ;). They were happy with their new and seemingly perfect relationship. One night changed everything. Telling her dad abou their relationship wasn’t the only problem they were faced with anymore. Who knew a mistake would haunt her for what felt like the rest of her life.  You could still feel their connection even after time apart. They both wanted one thing: to be together. They had a few bases to make it past first. Can they find a way to be together while also worrying about a tragic curse? You will have to read to find out.
