From USA Today bestselling author Terri E. Laine comes an all new STANDALONE second chance romance…

One night … one kiss … one touch … will change everything.

Chance Abbot is cocky.

A player in every sense of the word.

He broke my heart once, and I swore he’d never get a second chance.

But when he smiles at me, flashing those irresistible dimples or looks at me like I’m the best thing he’s ever seen, I forget I shouldn’t fall for his charms again.

Brie Holloway is beautiful.

She’s everything I’ve ever wanted and everything I don’t deserve.

But that won’t keep me from trying to win her back.

So when she starts dating her TA, I promise to keep her secret on one condition: for every time she goes out with him, she has to go out with me. I’m prepared to prove I’m right for her, one date at a time.

He’s lighting a fire in my heart and breaking down my walls, and proving he’s worthy of a second chance.

She’s everything that’s good in my world, and if she wants me to chase her I will because she’s got me catching fireflies…

Best second chance romance of the year. Thank you Terri for giving me all the feels. I was fascinated with this story just from reading the synopsis. Chance and Brie’s story was pure magic. Chance Abbott was young man who didn’t let many people know the real him. If he showed you his true self, you were lucky! He had so many heartbreaking moments in his life and was always shielding his heart. Did he find the girl he was ready that he was wanted to take a chance on? Yes, pun was intended 😉 Brie Holloway is a confident woman who struggles with trying to please her family. Whether her family means to or not, they put pressure on her to find the right man, the right job, and the right life. Even with all this pressure, you can’t help but admire her for trying to make decisions that are best for her. One night, Brie and Chance meet. Their instant attraction is ELECTRIC. They have a special bond and things are headed in the right direction. Chance starts to realize that he can’t just jump into a relationship if he is not mentally ready. Chance breaks up with Brie in not so many words. He knows that he might regret it, but he has to find himself on his own. A couple of years later, they see each other more often because of some circumstances and the connection is still there. Both are at different points in their life, but Chance begs for a second chance. He chases her like a firefly. Fireflies are so significant to both of their lives and to this story. In some species, female fireflies are flightless and I think Brie can relate. Chance knows he needs to be in her life to help her fly and be the person she is destined to become, but will his consistent charm do work? Catching Fireflies was dynamic, momentous, electrifying, innocent, and OUTSTANDING. So impressed and amazed by Terri’s writing style. Catching Fireflies deserves 10 stars. This is a must read!!
