Release Promotion & Review: Delivery Girl by Lily Kate

lilykate_deliverygirl_ebook_finalGood things come in extra-large, smoking hot packages.

Things like pizza.

The very pizzas that I deliver for my dad’s restaurant, Peretti’s Pizza. It’s a temporary job, something to pay the bills until I graduate from school, but it does the trick. In fact, it’s working quite well until Ryan Pierce of the LA Lightning decides to order a pizza from me, and life as I know it turns upside down.

You see, Ryan Pierce doesn’t just open his front door. He opens it buck naked. And suddenly, I’m not the one boasting the biggest, hottest package in the room. However, it’s what happens next that makes my stomach flip upside down whenever my phone beeps. Ryan starts to call, and then text, and then fifteen pizza deliveries and one hot-as-sin kiss later, we’re friends with benefits.

So when he asks me to be his fake girlfriend at his brother’s wedding, I’m happy to help. But the longer we pretend, the more I worry that this is one package I might not be able to handle.

Lily Kate delivered with her debut novel. Delivery Girl was fun, flirty, filled with humor and decision making, and it gave me all the smiley face pizza feels. Ryan and Andi craved each other since the first time they laid eyes on each other…and Ryan wasn’t wearing much. They have an agreement that is so unpredictable you can’t help but want more.

Ryan Pierce is a sexy hockey player focused on his career. Thanks to his brother and his fiancé, he has a place to stay in LA and he is meeting with a new agent. He wants to play for a new team and will do anything to be part of the LA Lightning. A pizza order turned his world and frown upside down..into a smiley face to be exact 😉 Andi Peretti changed everything.

Andi Peretti was a delivery girl for her dad’s pizza place, Peretti’s Pizza. She aspired to be a comedienne, but went to school for accounting to make her dad happy. She was passionate and would do all she could to follow HER own dreams. One smiley face pizza delivery ended up being more delicious than the pizza. Could she let herself fall for someone she just met?

Ryan and Andi captured my heart. They had an instant connection that everyone including the pizza could see if only it had eyes. Ryan and Andi knew what they wanted in life, but a relationship wasn’t at the top of either of their lists. She practically ran away from him on their first meeting and he wanted to know more about her. You know what that meant..more pizza orders! They bond in such a short amount of time that it takes them both by suprise. He needs a wedding date to his brothers wedding, but doesn’t want to pressure her. And if he wants a spot on the LA Lightning a serious relationship is not in the cards. They both agree to be friends with benefits..yeah let’s see how long that lasts. As time goes on their relationship grows. Can they allow themselves to fall in love? Is the timing right? Will their careers come first?

I seriously cannot believe this is Lily’s debut novel. She writes with the experience of a NYT Best Selling author. I could feel the passion she put in with every interaction between her characters. Every page was like magic. I really loved the humor of the book. It made Andi and Ryan’s story more unique and so enjoyable to read. I am looking forward to reading more from her. Attention all bookworms: Lily Kate will be added to your favorite authors list! So, get to reading and ordering those smiley face pizzas!
